Big dilemma

But then limits get pretty hazy once the party starts. You think that it's the right thing because its what you want to do, and you are your own person so to hell with what others think. To hell with caution. It's all in the name of good fun right? Nobody can stop you, you'll just do whatever as long as you don't get caught. And in any case, everything's under control because you know your limits- but do you really?
Things you do gets more and more outrageous, and you feel like you're on top of the world because you can, because you dare to. You hang around friends you trust- people you feel that you can be yourself with; they won't try to stop you from doing what you want. They might even encourage you, oblivious to the fact that they're holding your hands down a crooked path. So you all go about your ways, telling whoever who don't get it to live a little cause life is short so might as well make it one big party. Besides, you know what you're doing, you're not a kid anymore.
Until one fine day you've decided that you've reached your limit. But things are not under control like they're supposed to. Your friends have crossed way over (why wouldn't they, your limits aren't theirs) and you take a step back to see what's going on.You realize how blind you've been. Things have gone way too far.
Influence is a powerful thing. You know the domino effect analogy? If only the reverse was possible ie. pick one domino back up and the rest follow suit.
I feel like a hypocrite for whatever I'm taking my stand on. But it's got to be done. It just isn't right. And I don't think I'm being a very good friend if I just stood at one side and not do anything.
